Silver Lining Scholarship Recipient – Zoe Schultz

In 2020, the firm unexpectedly lost its Pittsburgh office managing partner, Jason G. Wehrle. Jason never failed to find a silver lining in every situation throughout his lifetime, whether it be for him or for someone he knew. In Jason’s memory, the firm came together to offer the “Silver Lining Scholarship,” awarded to a deserving Seneca Valley High School graduate. Jason was a Seneca Valley Foundation trustee and School Board Director for the Seneca Valley School District. This scholarship is given for five years in the amount of $2500.
This year’s recipient of the Scholarship was Zoe Schultz. Zoe will be attending SUNY at Buffalo, after being accepted into their early assurance PharmD program and Honors College. The Honors College is for students who were committed to academic excellence in high school and plan to have the same commitment in college. There are extra requirements to be part of the program and smaller group advisors to help transition to college life and to provide support throughout the year. This past summer, Zoe took an educational trip to Costa Rica and worked two jobs. The future looks bright for Zoe!
