Taylor S. Goodspeed

Taylor S. Goodspeed is a litigation attorney with experience in transportation liability, insurance defense, and criminal prosecution. Licensed in New York, South Carolina, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, Taylor has handled complex matters ranging from high-exposure transportation and wrongful death litigation to felony prosecutions and vehicular crime investigations.

Throughout his legal career, Taylor has represented clients in complex civil litigation, managing cases from discovery through trial, conducting depositions, drafting and arguing motions, appearing regularly in court, and developing litigation strategies in high-stakes matters. Before entering civil practice, he served as an Assistant District Attorney, where he prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases, led complex investigations, conducted grand jury presentations, and gained significant trial experience.

Taylor earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, with an Advanced Certificate in Criminal Law from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Empire State College. In addition to his legal career, Taylor served in the United States Army Reserve and Army National Guard as a Combat Medic, EMT, and Paralegal Specialist, demonstrating a strong commitment to service and leadership.

With extensive courtroom experience, strong advocacy skills, and a background spanning both prosecution and defense, Taylor is dedicated to delivering effective legal representation and achieving successful outcomes for his clients.  

When not practicing law, Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young children, and two French Bulldogs. He also serves as a volunteer firefighter and enjoys exploring New Jersey with his family and remaining active in his local community.
