Biography
Kirk D. Willis is a highly respected trial attorney with extensive experience in product liability, construction, professional malpractice, and officer and director liability defense. He has successfully represented various clients, including boat manufacturers, crane and hoist companies, construction contractors, brokers, and both financial and nonprofit institutions in litigation across the nation.
He is board-certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Kirk has established himself as a prominent attorney known for his expertise in fraud prevention, investigation, and litigation counsel for major insurance companies and contractors. He has tried over 100 jury trials to verdict, solidifying his reputation as a leading trial lawyer in his defense practice, which encompasses construction litigation, commercial disputes, medical malpractice, employment litigation, and environmental litigation.
In addition to his litigation experience, Kirk is the author of two books: "Corporate Justice: Fight Back In the Court Room and Save Your Company" and "Intellectual Property Law in the Sports and Entertainment Industry." He has also shared his knowledge by conducting numerous seminars on topics such as Wrongful Death, Survival Claims, Ethical Considerations for Adjusters, Construction Contract Termination, Subcontractor Issues, Bad Faith, Jury Perceptions, and Appropriate Use of Expert Witnesses, among others.
