Susan Boland is a partner with The Willis Law Group and a seasoned litigator with more than 20 years of experience representing clients across a broad range of liability matters. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York (2006) and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (2020).
Susan is a member of the firm’s General Liability Group, where her practice focuses on construction accidents, Labor Law, general liability, premises liability, and municipal liability. She has extensive experience defending claims on behalf of both public and private entities, including various insurance companies. Her work spans all facets of litigation—from initial claim investigation through trial—allowing her to deliver comprehensive and strategic representation.
Known for her creative and results-driven approach, Susan has achieved numerous successful resolutions throughout her career. She evaluates each matter efficiently and collaborates closely with her clients to develop tailored litigation strategies. Her approach reflects a balance of aggressive advocacy and cost-conscious decision-making, ensuring that each case is handled with both precision and practicality.
In addition to her legal practice, Susan serves as Village Prosecutor for the Village of Rockville Centre and as Village Attorney for the Incorporated Village of Island Park. She also serves as counsel to the Town of Hempstead’s Public Employment Relations Board (PERB).
Susan is actively involved in both her profession and her community. She is currently the President of the Sacred Heart Academy Alumni Attorney Association and serves as Secretary of her local civic association.
