Sean Dolan is a lifelong Delawarean. He attended Salesianum High School, the University of Delaware, and Widener University School of Law. He has been practicing in Delaware since 1987 and his work has centered on trial practice in all of Delaware’s Courts. He has represented insurers and their insureds in all aspects of litigation, including appeals to the Delaware Supreme Court.
In addition to his work in the courts, Mr. Dolan has been a frequent lecturer in seminars given for the benefit of other practitioners. Topics have included litigation of automobile accident cases, evaluation and use of experts in trial, proper evaluation and calculation of damages, insurance coverage matters, workers compensation claims, coordination of available coverages in personal injury cases, construction accidents, and property damage, including subrogation.
He is past Counsel to the Delaware Claims Association, where he provided regular updates to insurance professionals and lawyers on statutory, regulatory, and case law developments in Delaware.
Mr. Dolan is married and the father of four children. His hobbies include distance running (he has completed 26 marathons), playing the guitar and the mandolin, and reading.
