Scott Fraley, a Certified Mediator and Insurance Law Lecturer, has over 39 years of defense litigation experience. He started his career specializing in medical malpractice before opening his own firm, Fraley & Fraley, LLP, which he ran for 20 years and tried more than 30 defense cases to a successful verdict. During his time as a solo practitioner he also pursued a master’s and Ph.D. in Literature from the University of Texas at Dallas.
In 2015, he became Director of Legal Writing at Baylor Law School, enhancing its national ranking. After leaving Baylor in 2019, Scott focused on appeals and handling auto collision cases, as well as handling claims related to nursing homes and insurance disputes. He is currently a key part of the firm’s RICO litigation team.
