Michael Graves represents clients located throughout New York and Texas in matters all around the country. In law school, he was awarded numerous distinctions including 14 CALI awards, the Legal Scholar Award (twice), and the Fredrick Douglas Moot Court Competition Best Petitioner’s Brief Award. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the UNT Dallas’ Law Review, the Editor – in – Chief of Accessible Law, and a Teaching Fellow. In the legal world, Michael is an experienced litigator and client advocate having completed a two-year clerkship with the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Texas and represented clients both as a solo practitioner and as part of larger firms, focusing on civil litigation, personal injury, commercial collections and insurance matters, including as SIU counsel for insurance carriers, reinsures and managing agents in New York.
