Gabriel Major was a life-long Philadelphian before he began practicing law in the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2009. There, he gathered a depth of experience in a wide array of practice areas including all manner of civil litigation, insurance coverage, criminal defense, and transactional work. Mr. Major returned to his home city in 2014 and continued his focus on civil defense practice. Mr. Major has defended against claims in multi-district mass toxic tort litigations, one-vehicle accidents, and everything in between.
Mr. Major is a two-time graduate of Temple University. While enrolled in the Beasley School of Law, he distinguished himself in the Trial Advocacy Program, receiving the Outstanding Trial Advocacy commendation. Mr. Major completed his undergrad education at Temple on an Outstanding Achievement Scholarship, where he majored in English and minored in French and Art History.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Major was a professional bartender for several years in a variety of settings across the Greater Philadelphia area. This experience instilled in him a unique ability to relate to and communicate with persons of any background, which has been invaluable to his legal success.
In his spare time, Mr. Major enjoys middle-distance running, writing fiction, competing in trivia, and reminding his friends and family of his high school football exploits. Mr. Major is also an active Associate Member of the Pen & Pencil Club of Philadelphia.
