Eugenia Apraku initially started her legal career in the military sector training Coast Guard command units on EEO regulations and leading mediations between complainants and command units regarding Title VII discrimination and anti-harassment matters within the branch. She also assisted non-profit agencies by working on behalf of the elderly and people with disabilities to ensure they receive Medicaid and other legal services. After law school, Eugenia enrolled in a competitive accelerated nursing program to develop an empirical understanding of the healthcare delivery system. She led numerous training seminars on HIPAA compliance and other hospital protocols as a registered nurse. In the legal field, she represents hospital staff in malpractice claims and licensure complaints.
