Lisa Poursine has been practicing law for more than 10 years. She joined MSZL&M in 2013. She brings to the firm a background in insurance defense work, employment law, and general civil litigation. She is committed to zealously advocating for her clients and promptly communicating with them as to litigation strategies that will lead to positive results. She loves defending and taking depositions, arguing at hearings, and attending mediations. Throughout her career, she has found that the key to success in the legal profession is hard work, dedication, and preparation.
Ms. Poursine received a B.A., cum laude, from Georgetown University, a J.D. (1999) cum laude, from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law (2002), and an LL.M. in Labor and Employment Law from the New York University (NYU) School of Law (2004). She is a member of the Dade County Bar Association as well as the Florida Bar Association. As a member of the Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program, Ms. Poursine conducts interviews of applicants to Georgetown University outside of business hours.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Hollywood, Florida, Ms. Poursine currently resides in Miami, Florida. She enjoys watching movies, reading fiction, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She also has trained and worked as a professional actor in New York.
