Kiadii joined Mintzer Sarowitz Ledva Zeris & Meyers, LLP as an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Wilmington, Delaware office in July of 2017. While in law school, Kiadii served as a law clerk intern to The Honorable E. Norman Veasey, Chief Justice (ret.) of the Delaware Supreme Court. Additionally, while still in law school Kiadii worked full time as a constituent advocate and district grant coordinator for The Honorable Michael N. Castle, U.S. Congressman for the District of Delaware. After law school, Kiadii served as Law Clerk to The Honorable Charles H. Toliver, IV of the Delaware Superior Court. Upon completion of his clerkship, Kiadii worked for two Fortune 100 insurance companies in their respective Delaware based captive law firms.

Kiadii has experience litigating matters before all of the Delaware Courts at both the state and federal levels. Presently, Kiadii’s practice is focused on the defense of insurance companies, their insureds and self-insured entities.

Kiadii is a native Wilmingtonian of Liberian descent. He enjoys lacrosse, skiing, sailing, Formula 1, rooting for the Eagles, Sixers and Phillies and spending time with friends and family. He married his high school sweetheart Kate, also an attorney in Wilmington, in 2007 and they have one daughter.

  • Prevailed on Motion for Summary Judgment on behalf of commercial retail client against a six-figure claim for personal injury.
  • Prevailed on a Motion to Dismiss in the Delaware Superior Court on behalf of a Fortune 100 Insurance Company against the City of Wilmington in an insurance subrogation matter.
  • Kelty v. State Farm Mutual Auto Ins. Co., 73 A.3d 926 (Del. 2013).
  • Prevailed on a declaratory judgement matter regarding the availability of Uninsured Motorist Coverage for a listed driver who was not a named insured that was litigated before the Delaware Superior Court.
  • Successfully defended a Fortune 100 insurance company before the Delaware Insurance Commissioner Arbitration panel in a subrogation matter with contested liability.
  • Negotiated a favorable resolution in a claim by the United States of America against a Fortune 100 Insurance company such that the United States of America ultimately dropped it’s claim and litigation in the Federal District Court for the District of Delaware was avoided.


  • June 15, 2010 article in Delaware Law Weekly regarding a Delaware Superior Court decision in my favor versus GEICO on an uninsured motorist coverage issue.
